General CTD Notes - data acquisition notes, logistics, processing - see below.
Please note that these regressions are generated from Final CTD vs bottle data and are considered done. CTD temperatures and salinities may not have changed significantly but oxygen, estimated chlorophyll-a, estimated nitrate may be significantly different than preliminary data. Questionable or mistrip bottle data have been removed from the correction regressions but may be visible on the CTD.csv plots. For this cruise and future cruises, both primary & secondary sensor profiles vs bottle data will be generated and archived in the downloadable CTD+Bottle data files. These plots are under the "csv-plots\Primary" & "csv-plots\Secondary"

Summary: CalCOFI 2001RL sailed on NOAA FSV Reuben Lasker at 1400PDT 04 Jan 2020 from Tenth Avenue Marine Terminal San Diego. 104 of 104 science stations were completed. CTD casts and various net tows were completed at each science station. Underway visual observations of marine mammals were conducted while under transit and sonobuoys deployed before stations as the acoustic component. Other underway science included continuous pCO2/pH and meteorological measurements. The cruise ended in San Francisco at Pier 30/32 on 26 Jan 2020 1300PDT.

Please note that the anomalies are based on 50-year harmonics (1949-1999) and these data are 1m binavg Seasoft-processed CTD data that have not gone through thorough quality control checks or bottle corrections. They are presented to give a general impression of current conditions. Final data plots will be published after all data are processed.
